The European Center for Posthumanism and Citizenship is a new pioneer European institution, member of GIRES, the Global Institute for Research Education & Scholarship.

By promoting research and education in the fields of literary, cultural,  environmental, posthumanist and civil studies, the center aims to cultivate a better understanding of the interrelationship between natures and cultures for a more sustainable future.

In the pursuit of these aims, the center supports: Scholarly and creative work in environmental, posthumanist and civil literature, arts, and humanities, activities that promote the interdisciplinary dialogue between the academic community and the general public
conferences, workshops, webinars and online lectures.
