Pramod Nayar, PhD

Pramod K Nayar teaches at the Department of English at the University of Hyderabad, India.

His work in posthumanism includes the book Posthumanism (Polity 2012),  and essays in South Asian Review, Modern Fiction Studies, Critical Posthumanism, Journal of Posthumanism and volumes such as The Bloomsbury Handbook of Posthumanism, The Palgrave Handbook of Posthumanism in Film and Television, Human Futures: Art in an Age of Uncertainty, among others. Related work is due to appear in volumes such as  Stewardship and the Future of the Planet: Promise and Paradox (in the series Routledge Advances in the History of Bioethics), Nature and Literary Studies (Cambridge University Press), Bloomsbury Companion to Aging in Literature and Film, Palgrave Handbook of Critical Posthumanism, and Technology, Urban Space and the Networked Community (Palgrave-Macmillan).

His other interests are British colonial writings on India, graphic novels and Human Rights & Literature, on each of which he has published work consistently over the years.
