Valeriya Bryzgalova was born in Yekaterinburg, the capital of Ural, on 1st of April, 1993. Graduated the Ural Federal University in 2010 as a bachelor of history (the Chair of Modern and Contemporary History), then entered Saint-Petersburg State University – got a Master’s degree and diploma with distinction there. Currently she’s working on her PhD thesis specializing on African-American cultural and political issues during the XXth and XXIst centuries. Besides that, she is a member of the Helen Doron Educational group, a company, which is officially considered to be the best at teaching English for kids and teenagers all over the world. Valeriya has been teaching there since December 2017.
Since 2016 she organizes interactive tours to Saint-Petersburg for school-age children from different regions of Russia.
Moreover, she is a professional singer, being on stage for more than 20 years. Writing her own songs she tries to spread the idea of cosmopolitanism, which, she thinks, is especially vital nowadays. The release of her debut album is expected before the end of this year.
