Rea Petsa, MA

Rea Petsa is a motivated and passionate Greek language and history teacher. She has graduated from the University of Athens with a degree of History and Archaeology and the University College London with an MA in Classics. She teaches at the University of Nicosia and Med High School in Larnaca, Cyprus.

She has always been fascinated and intrigued by the complexity, depth, history and understanding of the Greek language throughout the different time periods. Through studying different periods of history from ancient, to medieval, to early modern through to the present day she has gained an understanding into some of the crucial developments that have determined humanity today. She loves challenging existing historical interpretations and posing new questions in order to explore other fields of the historical research such as oral history.
