Collectively, her teaching career spans over 15 years, while she also worked with a London Edexcel affiliated school in Lahore. In 2018, she relocated to Malaysia for her PhD in applied linguistics, and in June, 2023, she successfully defended my doctoral thesis. During her affiliation with different universities, she have been active as international student counselor, department academics coordinator, advisor of community services, public speaking, technical writing and research.

In research, her area of specialization is cognitive linguistics, specifically the cognitive processing of textual comprehension involving higher order thinking skills, metacognition and self-efficacy. Along with publishing research in these areas,  she also published research in the area of critical discourse analysis, which also is one of her favorite research fields. Further, she has traveled to different countries for presenting in multi-cultural conferences. As a university learner and teacher, she has held offices in international student society, English journal editing, academic translation, English literary circle, and students social club.

Academically, she was awarded Academic Roll of Honour for her bachelor, distinction for her master’s, and a gold medal and Certificate of Excellence in her MPhil. On this account, she was invited by the government of Pakistan, to travel across the hard areas of the country as a student ambassador for female education to encourage females in developing areas to enroll for university education. Personally, she raises her voice for (i) developing sustainable community, and (ii) female education in developing countries, which is very close to her heart, for which she aspires to strive along with pursuing my research career as a researcher.
