Maria Daskalaki, MA

Maria Daskalaki is a Primary School teacher working for the Greek Ministry of Education. She holds a BA in Education Science by the University of Crete (2011), a MA in Adults’ Education by the Hellenic Open University (2021) and a MA in Special Education by the University of Nicosia (2022), while she has been working in the wider field of education since 2014. Her favorite courses to teach pupils are Mathematics and Physics. She masters Greek, English and German languages. 

Her main research interests mostly focus on Sustainable Education, School Administration and Leadership, Special Education and School Psychology, Gender, Sex and Racial Equality, Social Justice and STEM. Her dissertation «Gender and leadership issues in sectors of Greek education. Research on adults’ perceptions in province of Lasithi in Crete (Greece) is one of the highlights of  the various researches she has conducted or participated in, till today.

As an open minded, motivated and curious educator, she is keen on constantly learning new things, challenging herself and trying to evolve as much possible.
