He has been working in the field of education since 2010. More specifically, he is specialized in evaluating, treating and setting personalized educational programs for students with Specific Learning Disabilities (dyslexia), ADHD, Spectrum of Autism and Mental Disabilities. In his daily educational routine he likes adapting innovative teaching approaches and methods, like the use of educational table games, some of which he originally designs and makes himself, as well as sports in general.

So far, throughout his academic career, he has attended and participated in numerous educational and scientific conferences, seminars and workshops. As far as the field of Education is concerned, his research interests mainly focus on students with Special Educational Needs, on parents/students Mentoring and consulting, on post-modern school leadership skills and –of course- on Educational Games Development. Except for his primary occupation, he is also genuinely passionate about sports and athletics, with a specific crush on football. As far as the field of Sports is concerned, his research interests mainly focus on Sports professionalization, globalization and commercialization, on Sports branding and marketing through innovation, on CSR, Social Inclusion and Social Sustainability, on fandom communities and identities, on hooliganism, doping and general violations in Sports field.

As an active, optimistic and provident educator, he strongly believes in social, racial, sex and educational equality which can be actually forwarded through the field of education and sports as well. His favorite motto «May fall, Must get up» features his general mentality and the way he likes to approach every single life matter. According to him, social, cultural and educative change can come as an aftermath of coordinated, well-planned and organized action taken by people who are keen on evolving themselves, interacting with others and sharing new knowledge.

Christos Bafas has published two books. The first work is entitled “O Tempora, O Sport” and the second is “Do it like your favorite athlete!” both in greek language. The books were published by GIRES Press in 2024.
