Thematic Approach

GIRES, the Global Institute for Research Education & Scholarship dedicated to interdisciplinarity aims to engage in critical discussions, knowledge sharing, and interdisciplinary collaboration on the utilization and advancement of mixed methods research approaches.

Conference Objectives:

The conference aims to achieve the exploration of mixed methods approaches and hopefully provide a platform for researchers to showcase and discuss diverse mixed methods research designs, methodologies, and techniques across various disciplines.The methodological innovations and integrations is another field of interest and we hope to discuss the emerging trends, innovations, and best practices in integrating qualitative and quantitative methods to enhance research validity, reliability, and comprehensiveness. Similarly, we hope to address the methodological challenges and explore the methodological challenges, ethical considerations, and practical implications associated with conducting mixed methods research, including data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting. The field of enhancing data integration and synthesis will also be in the spectrum of our topics in order to explore strategies and techniques for effectively integrating, analyzing, and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to generate comprehensive and nuanced research findings. We hope that will also showcase the wide range of applications of mixed methods research in various fields, including but not limited to social sciences, education, health sciences, psychology, business, and public policy thought the exploration of applications of mixed methods research.

The conference welcomes scholars, practitioners, researchers and students in order to engage in a productive dialogue on the highly important field of mixed research methods.

Proposed Formats (Lingua franca: English)
-Individual papers (GIRES will included it in a panel)
-Panels (up to 4 presentations-chaired by one of the presenters or appointed by GIRES)
-Roundtable presentations (chaired by one of the presenters or appointed by GIRES)
-Poster presentations
-Student presentations (one paper presented by up to 3 young scholars)
-Keynote speech (depending on the time availability)
-Pre-recorder presentation (s) (Asynchronous Platform)
-Pre-recorder presentation (s) (Synchronous-live- Sessions: live participation of presenter (s) during the Q&A sessions)

Publication Opportunity 
The Organizing Committee and GIRES Press will publish the most powerful and dynamic presentations of the conference and include them

Live Sessions Recording
All participants have the option to have their presentations recorded (during live sessions) in HD quality. The recordings will be uploaded to GIRES media for unlimited access and dissemination.

Asynchronous Options
All participants have the option to have their presentations (video/audio/text) uploaded to our Virtual Platform. All  registered participants will have access to the material for 5 days.
